Located in Cologne, gamescom is Europe’s major trade show for computer and video games, and one of the most important events in the gaming industry worldwide. The upcoming gamescom 2019 will be staged on 20 - 24 August at Messe Cologne. A new attendance record was registered at the previous edition - 1037 exhibitors from 56 countries and 370,000 visitors - gaming enthusiasts and professionals. The previous edition was the most international so far, but the expectations are that gamescom 2019 will see even further growth.
In 2020, Koelnmesse GmbH will launch gamescom's first regional satellite event - gamescom asia. This first edition will take place from 15 to 18 October 2020 at Suntec Singapore.
