SIAL (or Salon International de l’Alimentation) is the highest-rated networking platform for food professionals. The global industry eagerly awaits the upcoming SIAL 2018 on 21 - 25 October. It will be staged at Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc d'Expositions, gathering over 7000 exhibiting companies and 160,000 trade visitors from around the world. Close to 80% of all exhibitors will present brand new products.
Who can you meet there
The benefits of the international food exhibition in Paris are experienced by large F&B corporations, medium-sized companies and start-ups alike. Government representatives, R&D teams, agri-food manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, retailers and chefs consider SIAL 2018 an essential part of their agenda. SIAL’s atmosphere and special events invite attendees to engage in conversations and share ideas.
What makes it special
With 21 exhibition sectors and food channels, SIAL Paris is unmatched in terms of product range. The strongest sectors include Beverages, Dairy products, Frozen foods, Meat, Savoury - and Sweet grocery. However, there is a lot more to the trade fair. Its networking possibilities, culinary demonstrations and constantly reinvented features (for example SIAL Innovation) are successful on their own merits.
What is new for SIAL 2018
In 2018, the Future Lab area will come with the mission to forecast the sector's prospects. It will approach topics like alternative proteins and AI in food practices. The new Alter’native Food sector at SIAL 2018 will be dedicated to sustainable and eco-friendly products, "free-from" products as well as semi processed foods.
