MIDO is the premier European event for eyewear bringing forward the trendiest designs and most advanced optometry solutions. MIDO 2022 is the eagerly anticipated upcoming edition of the fair that will welcome over 59,000 industry members to the halls of Fiera Milano. After two consecutive in-person events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the next MIDO dates are now set to – 30th April to 2nd May 2022 – will be a crucial reunion for the sector.
MIDO Milan 2022 will bring together all operators in the eyewear sector, from manufacturers and distributors to agents, representatives and exclusive retailers. Over 1,500 companies participate in the MIDO exhibition, which offers the perfect opportunity to share projects and proposals, reassess the sector, analyse economic and social themes, and discuss trends and new developments through high-profile meetings and interactive events. The next edition of the fair will be an occasion for effective business, extending your network of contacts, making deals and talking trade.
Special showcase areas enhance the MIDO 2022 experience, including the Fashion District where leading eyewear companies unveil their new collections, MORE! - a window into the future of eyewear, and the Design Lab, which houses the biggest creative talents. Part of it is the Lab Academy – an exclusive space for the most innovative companies selected by a special committee of experts. In accordance with the sustainability efforts of its organisers, MIDO now also includes the Stand Up for Green award for the most nature-conscious exhibitors.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
