MIDO – one of the main international events in the eyewear sector, will celebrate its 50th edition in 2021. Unfortunately, the new MIDO 2021 dates – 5 to 7 June, will not be able to host an in-person format of the event due to the continued impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, MIDO 2021 will offer a fully digital event, which will provide industry members with the opportunity to share projects and proposals, reassess the sector, analyze economic and social themes, discuss trends and new developments through various interactive events.
Besides the latest fashion eyewear collections by both leading and upcoming brands and cutting-edge lens offers, participants at MIDO can also find a whole showcase of the best products from Asia at the FAiR East Pavilion. Meanwhile, the Design Lab and the MORE! area are the places where you can discover what the future of the business holds, with the latest technologies and trends. In keeping up with them, MIDO 2021 is introducing the Stand Up For Green award, which will be awarded to the most environmentally conscious exhibitors at the show.
