About SPIEL Essen 2023
The SPIEL 2023 dates, 5 - 8 October, will bring to Essen Exhibition Center (Messe Essen) the most prominent game publishers, game authors and other industry professionals. They will be joined by a plethora of avid gamers, board game reviewers and influencers. The previous edition of the largest public fair for card, dice and board games attracted nearly 147,000 visitors. Startups and well-known companies from 56 countries chose SPIEL Essen to showcase their newest creations - 1800 game premieres took place.
The next SPIEL Messe in 2023 will be just as eventful. The exhibition will cover everything from collaborative games to one-person games. New children's games and adult games will be played and ordered.

The event was great but in my humble oppinion too busy and not enough depth. At the first day I spent nealry 2 hours just to enter the venue and was not able to see the opening.
The hotel was very good. They were flexible to help me with a room prior to checkin time and eveything was accordingly. Perfect.
