SIMEI occurs every two years to lead technical innovations and uphold standards in the winery and bottling machinery sectors. Although there is a specialised focus on wines, the trade fair sees a wide range of solutions for other beverage types as well - beer, mineral water, carbonated drinks, juices, liqueurs, spirits and alcohol. Each edition integrates the supply chain in one place and allows you to build lasting partnerships across borders. Display categories cover labelling machinery, barrels, centrifuges, cisterns, sorting equipment, shredders and ion exchangers as few examples.
SIMEI is a strong advocate of innovation and is committed to ensuring that innovative products and technological developments gain broad visibility across the industry. This is why, in 2019, the marketplace opened up to the new “Liquid Food” product segment. In addition, the fair has been granting the Innovation Award to the best product innovations and processes in the field of viticulture, wine production and beverage production for the last 10 years. The initiative was launched to promote innovative exhibitors at SIMEI and Enovitis.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
