Over the past seven decades Consumenta has become Bavaria’s leading annual marketplace. After a last-minute cancellation of the fair dates in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, participants are now eagerly awaiting the return of Consumenta 2021 from 30 October to 7 November 2021.
What makes Consumenta such an essential platform is the sheer breadth of its exhibition. In nine halls at Messe Nuremberg, the showcase unfolds over 13 product categories, including fashion, wellness, healthy food, home economics, house renovation, leisure, alternative energy and more. More than 1,000 exhibitors fill the show floor with the latest product, service and technology offers. They benefit from unrivalled opportunities to interface directly with a diverse audience of end-users. More than 80% of the over 160,000 visitors make purchases at the fair and participating companies also benefit from significant follow-up business opportunities.
Alongside the rich exhibition, Consumenta is attractive for its extensive programme of special events. In 2021, visitors will be able to enjoy the offers of the Pet Fair Nuremberg (5 – 7 November), iENA – the innovation show (4 – 7 November) and the equine show Faszination Pferd (2 – 7 November) among others. On the first two days of Consumenta, the GINmarket will offer a vast variety of Gin-Tonic drinks for the tasting.
