What makes it special
The biennial trade show is where professionals connect, gain information regarding new trends and industry regulations, and are the first to see innovative solutions. The event offers 3 types of customised progmammes - for craftspeople and fitters, project managers and contracting authorities, retailers and wholesalers.
Each of the 6 main sectors of BATIMAT Paris is created to contribute to the participants' goals through special activities and events, plus the sheer product variety. The current sectors are: Indoor fittings, Outdoor fittings, Joinery and closures, Worksite equipment and tools, Structure and envelope, as well as the recently included Construction tech.
What is new for BATIMAT
BATIMAT 2019 is a special edition, as it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the trade show. And although reminiscing about the established traditions is common in such occasions, the construction trade fair will look to the future of the related sectors. BATIMAT will revolve around connectivity and digital technologies, renewable resources and limited waste solutions in buildings, low- and zero-carbon footprint processes and flexible housing.
Another major theme will be related to the improvement of skills, working conditions and safety within the industry.
