Art communities worldwide rejoice at another Hong Kong edition of the internationally renowned Art Basel exhibitions. Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 is scheduled for 27th – 29th of May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where over 130 exhibitors will display their best and never-seen-before artworks.
The fair’s creative display will feature canvases, art installations of different sizes and properties arranged within three main sectors: Galleries, Insights, and Discoveries. In the Galeries section world’s leading Modern and contemporary artists will put their masterpieces on display. Emerging artists’ newest works will be in the spotlight in the Discoveries sector. The show floor at Art Basel Hong Kong will also feature Film, Magazines and Conversations areas. Hot topics in the art world, digitization and the metaverse are just some of the highlights that art curators, collectors and critics will explore at the Conversations stage.
The exhibition has already joined the Metaverse and in 2022, will continue to establish its foothold in the 3D VR/AR universe with the *Art Basel Hong Kong OVR edition made available to exhibitors and visitors.
