Information
Art Basel in Switzerland is the most influential art show on a global scale. Even though its events in Miami and Hong Kong enjoy immense popularity in their own right, the show in Messe Basel is where it all originated and its traditions and modernity create a unique blend for art lovers.
The public days of Art Basel 2021 are 23 - 26 September (Thursday to Sunday). The two days before that are marked as invitation only preview days. Over 93,000 visitors are expected to experience the next Art Basel in 2021. The occasion will be memorable, as always, with the art world gathering for its special events, talks and - of course - exhibits.
Who can you meet there
Art Basel attracts European, American and Asian collectors interested in 20th and 21-st century art. The event is the universally acknowledged meeting point for the art world, giving room to discovery but also to conversation, collaboration, expansion, validation and inspiration.
As such, Art Basel 2021 in Basel is also on the agenda of international artists, public institutions, foundations, gallerists, museum directors, scholars, art historians and dealers.
