SaMoTer is the only construction professional summit in Italy with a firm foothold on the entire ecosystem of the construction equipment sector. The international exhibition partners with The Committee for European Construction Equipment to deliver earth moving equipment to its already all-encompassing product offering.
SaMoTer occurs once every three years, and as such, it was particularly disrupted by the onset and continuous developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. 2020 coincided with its 31st event edition, which was postponed, and after continuous unsuccessful efforts to realise it led to the eventual cancellation of the 2021 dates. The organisers spend considerable time in data analysis to define the thematic focus of each SaMoTer edition, making it particularly well adapted to the concurrent industry needs. In 2023 public debate and institutional push for more sustainable industrial practices informed the SaMoTer decision to organise the exhibition and its supporting programme around the goals of the New Green Deal.
