The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is considered a key platform for the offshore energy sector. After a challenging period due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a different, yet successful edition in 2021, the OTC 2022 dates are set on 2 - 5 May. The event returns with its impressive technological programme, complemented by a display of the innovations related to solar, wind, hydrogen, gas, oil and other energy resources.
The previous conference marked a few important changes for the benefit of the attending energy professionals and academics. The first joint event between OTC and NAPE Summit, Synergy in Energy gave participants an option to take part in both conferences, and included a fireside chat emphasizing energy transition. OTC’s new Executive Dialogue Series brought to Houston international leaders, who discussed solutions for the offshore energy sector’s high-priority issues and exchanged experience. The Emerging Leaders Program was also introduced. Its purpose is to acknowledge young professionals with noteworthy contributions to the sector. All three initiatives are to be continued.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
