Every year, experts and creatives in the optics industry flock to the Munich Trade Fair Centre on the occasion of opti. On 10-12 January, opti 2020 will gather the community again to display their newest products. As an international trade show for optics and design, opti represents the whole visual-optical spectrum, from frames to lenses, contact lenses, low vision, shop fittings, IT, marketing and sales, instruments/tools/spectacle elements, accessories as well as technical equipment and professional education. The platform premieres new products of both international market leaders and start-ups alike.
In 2019 opti expanded its industry reach by inviting companies to connect with influencers of the fashion and eyewear world. At the BLOGGER SPECTACLE, attending bloggers selected the best frame innovations and the BLOGGER SPECTACLE award was granted. At its last edition, opti also presented the special opti SHOWCASE area. The new format explored a particular future-oriented topic - the customer journey.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
