The Musikmesse 2020 dates, 1 - 4 April, will turn Frankfurt into an exciting stage for the music business. Now in its 40th year of dedication to music production, the event continues to create invaluable connections among professionals in the sector. Sharing three days with Prolight+Sound in 2020 (1 - 3 April), Musikmesse will return with a convenient setting in Messe Frankfurt.

Hall 3.0 will display pianos and keyboards, drums and percussion instruments, electric guitars, basses and amps, woodwind and brass instruments. Sheet music, acoustic guitars, stringed and harmonica instruments will be found in Hall 3.1. It will also accommodate the Guitar Boutique Village and the Networking Area. The educational Music4Kids will occupy Hall 4C. Musikmesse Plaza will be located at Hall 4.1, while the new Home of Drums - at Forum 1. Agora will host Musikmesse's Festival Arena and Street Food Festival.

What is new for Musikmesse 2020

Musikmesse 2020 will commemorate a special occasion – the 40th anniversary of the Frankfurt-based platform for the international music business. Musikmesse will take place from Wednesday to Saturday, with many workshops, concerts and festive activities featured in the event programme on Friday and Saturday.
A new concept - Home of Drums will make its debut during Musikmesse Frankfurt in 2020. It will combine presentations, performances and concerts with other, more formal meeting opportunities for manufacturers, drum and percussion customers.
