MEDCARE 2022

MEDCARE is Germany’s trade fair for clinical and extra-clinical patient care. The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting pressure on the care sector prompted the cancellation of the event in 2021. After the year-long pause, MEDCARE 2022 in Leipzig will gather under one roof nursing care specialists and managers on 5 and 6 October. Being the only event in the country with an emphasis on holistic patient care, the training exhibition and congress is highly anticipated among the therapeutic community.

As ever, the MEDCARE congress programme will provide practice-oriented solutions and advanced training. It will be mainly focused on treatment care with therapy methods such as modern wound care, hygiene, medical nutrition, incontinence care and palliative medicine, pain management and intensive care. Key speakers will discuss in depth current sector issues and developments in the course of nearly 100 lectures and workshops. The Central German Intensive Care Days as well as Leipzig Wound Days will be an integral part of MEDCARE once again.

Along with the networking and educational opportunities, MEDCARE 2022 will feature an array of innovations covering all aspects of clinical and out-of-hospital patient care. Over 80 exhibitors will showcase information and communication technology (ICT) for the sector, medical devices, care aids and hygiene products. Health service providers and specialist publishers will also be represented.
