MATKA in Helsinki is the largest travel fair in Northern Europe. After the cancellation of the annual show’s 2021 dates, MATKA 2022 will be a welcome reunion for travel industry members and holidaymakers. Over 60,000 consumers and 20,000 trade visitors from all over the world will come together to explore the latest travel offers and insights between 19 - 23 January 2022.
Over 1000 tour operators and travel destination representatives display their offers at each MATKA Helsinki edition. The exhibition programme unites outstanding B2B and B2C opportunities through a division between trade-exclusive days (19 – 20 January) and a weekend open to the public (21 – 23 January). During the business-only days, industry members can attend the MATKA Business Forum and the MATKA Workshop Day, which offer domestic and international companies the chance to engage with prospective partners with over 7,000 scheduled meetings.
The public days of MATKA will welcome a vast audience of travellers looking to book their next holiday. A rich supporting programme will help connect supply and demand on the show floor. A key feature is the MATKA travel fair partner country, which in 2022 is Greece.
