LIGNA, the most important trade fair for the woodworking and timber processing industry, delivers innovative solutions regarding machinery, plant and tools. The event is held once every 2 years in Hannover, Germany. LIGNA 2019 expects more than 1500 companies to present their products across 129,000 sq metres of exhibition area. What is new for LIGNA 2019
LIGNA 2019 will be dominated by 3 major topics reflecting the advancements in woodworking and timber processing. The first, Integrated Manufacturing – Customised Solutions will present new wood industry applications and RFID technology. The second, Smart Surface Technologies will come back to the 2019 trade show with expanded range incorporating 3D printing technologies. The third, Access to Resources and Technology will also be the central theme of the Wood Industry Summit.
