Taking place once in 3 years, interpack in Dusseldorf is the largest trade fair for processing and packaging. A record number of companies took part in the success of the previous edition. Messe Dusseldorf opened its doors to 2860 exhibitors from 55 countries and 170,899 visitors from 169 countries. With satisfaction rate of 98%, expectations for the upcoming interpack 2020 are definitely optimistic. It will highlight new solutions and approaches in relation to sustainability and Industry 4.0.
What makes it special
One of the reasons behind the popularity of the platform is that interpack is the only trade show which covers the entire supply chain. Its segments, collectively known as the innovative 8, are: Bakery, Beverages, Confectionary, Cosmetics, Food Industry, Industrial Goods, Non-Food and Pharmaceutics. In unison with the special events at interpack, they mirror the dynamics in the sector - for example the shift towards digitalisation and the demand for alternative packaging materials.
What is new for INTERPACK 2020
The motto of interpack 2020 will be Welcome Home. Indeed, the trade show will welcome exhibitors and visitors with a brand new hall structure for their convenience. It will include Messe Dusseldorf's new hall 1 and its adjacent South entrance as well as other changes. The modification is aimed to reduce the distances between the different exhibition areas and to make each visit of the 22nd interpack more efficient and fulfilling.
