About Intec 2023
Running in odd-numbered years, Intec and the co-located Z fair host one of the most important international meetings for the metalworking sector. Unfortunately, the health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic led to the conversion of the 2021 edition of the fair into a fully online format, leading to the postponement of the next in-person meeting of the industry to Intec 2023, which will be held from 7 to 10 March at Leipziger Messe.
With over 1,300 exhibitors contributing to the showcase, Intec and Z cover the full span of the metalworking and subcontracting industries. On focus at Intec are all stages of the process and supply chain for metal processing. The main fields of the exhibition are machine tools, systems for automated production and precision implements. The programme is aimed in particular at customers from the machine, factory and tool construction and the automotive industry. Exhibitors can meet with an audience of over 24,000 trade visitors across the two fairs. With a significant presence from decision-makers and representatives of international enterprises, Intec is an excellent platform for creating and maintaining contacts, securing sales and engaging in in-depth discussions about the future of the industry.
Intec 2023 will once again offer a combination of exhibition, technology hotspots and specialized programme highlighting current trends. Specialised forums and conferences will highlight the latest technological advancements and solutions. The Specialists' Day on the last day of the fair is dedicated to young professionals.

The event was great but in my humble oppinion too busy and not enough depth. At the first day I spent nealry 2 hours just to enter the venue and was not able to see the opening.
