InnoTrans 2024
InnoTrans 2024 will take place from 24 to 27 September and will mark the 15th edition of the global trade fair for rail technology. Professionals from Germany and abroad will meet at Messe Berlin for a 4-day programme that will cover in-depth topics and showcase innovations in the industry.
The first edition of InnoTrans took place in 1996. Since then, the fair has organised events in Berlin every two years, hosting transport and construction companies, engineers and young professionals.
InnoTrans 2024 will showcase complete vehicles, innovative materials and components that contribute to the development of the rail technology industry. The 2024 edition consists of five segments (Rail Technology, Rail Infrastructure, Interiors, Public Transportation and Tunnel Construction), each offering conferences and panel discussions, seminars and educational programs such as the InnoTrans Campus. InnoTrans 2024 attendees are encouraged to visit the outdoor exhibition featuring the newly created Bus Display area, which offers leading manufacturers static and moving mock-ups of new products and technologies.
InnoTrans 2024 participants will have the opportunity to be featured on the new InnoTrans Podcast and The InnoTrans Daily. The newsletter was published in 2014 in physical format by Railway Gazette International, the only authorised media covering the most important trends an developments in the sector. Now updated InnoTrans Daily reports are available for download from the InnoTrans Report app.

What makes it special
What is new for InnoTrans 2024
In 2024, InnoTrans will return with a new display area - AI Mobility Lab. Set in Hall 7’s Public Transport segment, the new area is already in high demand. Its contents revolve around the application of artificial intelligence, robotics, data protection and cybersecurity solutions in the transport systems sector. AI Mobility Lab features its own thematic programme and daily guided tours.
The inaugural Railfluencer Festival is scheduled to take place on the last day of InnoTrans 2024, 27 September. The event is focused on connecting experts in the mobility sector with bloggers and influencers via networking events and lectures.
