IFSO 2022 will return for an in-person edition in Miami. The 25th world congress will occur at Fontainebleau Miami Beach from 23 to 27 August, marking its silver anniversary. The Early Bird deadline for the IFSO Congress 2022 tickets is 27 May 2022. On-site registration will be open on 22 August 2022.
IFSO is the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. The federation comprises national associations of bariatric surgeons and Integrated Health professionals. IFSO, founded in 1996, has since been organising congress editions every year in various countries. The annual IFSO Congress brings together nurses, practitioners, dieticians, nutritionists, psychologists, internists, and anesthesiologists involved in treating morbidly obese patients to exchange knowledge on surgical treatment and present new techniques and concepts and establish business connections with other professionals in the field.
The IFSO Congress 2022 programme will be even more interesting than previous editions. There will be sessions organised in Spanish and Portuguese by IFSO LAC. Adding up to the program will be ASMBS, which will participate at IFSO 2022 with its two tracks – WOF and WGO in two separate sessions. The congress programme will cover essential topics, including how obesity affects the immune system during the coronavirus pandemic. The IFSO Congress 2022 will also host innovative Post Graduate courses, Symposia, expert talks, discussion panels and hands-on skill labs.

Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
