Heimtextil 2025
The flagship textile and sleep solutions trade fair Heimtextil is back in Frankfurt from 14th to 17th January 2025 with a promise to bring an even more immersive design experience for all participants. Messe Frankfurt will host the trade fair, which will collaborate with Studio Urquiola; the Milan-based design studio and textile trade fair will place a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and design in the entire textile industry.
The last Heimtextil event edition brought over 46,000 professional visitors and 2,800 exhibitors from 60 countries, marking a substantial 25% growth in attendance numbers from previous editions. This substantial growth illustrates the event’s expanding influence and provides valuable opportunities for industry stakeholders. The show’s concept touches all areas of textile applications, including bed & bath, decorative & furniture fabrics, fibres & yarns, textile design, wall decoration and more.
Along with the increase in exhibition space, Heimtextil 2025 will return with elevated engagement programming. The sustainable production concept will continue to evolve with various approaches and formats, including Finder, Talks, and Tours within the Econogy Hub, demonstrating the versatility in the certifications and applications every start-up and established business needs.

What is new for Heimtextil 2025
In 2025, Heimtextil will return with an expanded Carpets & Rugs segment. The number of exhibiting companies will exceed more than twice the previous edition’s figures. Additionally designated to the segment in 2025, Hall 5.0 will host the Hand-woven carpets area, the international country pavilions and a relevant programme of panel discussions, presentations, and guided tours.
One of the most intriguing features of Heimtextil 2025 will be the collaboration with the renowned Spanish architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. Her brainchild, the installation Among-us, will demonstrate the application of ready-made textiles in interior design and hospitality. It will promote the regenerative approach and sustainable practices in the context of the textile sector.
