GIFA is a leading international trade fair for foundry technology. It takes place in Dusseldorf and is co-located with METEC, NEWCAST and THERMPROCESS. With 97% of all visitors claiming they were satisfied with the preceding edition, GIFA 2019 is the highlight of the year for the professionals in the sector. On 25 - 29 June, Messe Dusseldorf will open its doors to more than 950 exhibitors and nearly 49,000 visitors specifically interested in GIFA.
Who can you meet there
The synergy between the 4 parallel events brings under one roof the foundry, metallurgy and heat technology industries. Experts, suppliers and decision makers will visit Dusseldorf for the GIFA 2019 dates to make personal contacts and engage in international business dealings. The latest survey showed that the 51% of all exhibitors and 56% of all visitors came from abroad. Italy, China, France, India and Turkey were among the strongly represented countries.
What makes it special
Once again, the 4 trade shows, collectively known as GMTN or The Bright World of Metals, will create a one-of-a-kind business platform for foundry, metallurgy, thermoprocess technology and castings. The interdisciplinary concept behind this contributes to the participants' success, resulting in over 2200 exhibitors and 78,000 trade visitors for the GMTN. The top-notch forum and symposia add further value to the GIFA Dusseldorf experience.
What is new for GIFA 2019
Like the other events forming The Bright World of Metals quartet, GIFA 2019 comes with a supporting programme of its own. The GIFA Forum is where the newest foundry trends and techniques will be introduced. In addition, a special show and trade conference on additive manufacturing will be launched during GIFA 2019. The conference will feature technical lectures involving the digital process chain, QA, innovations in 3D metal printing, etc.
