Formnext – the premier event for the additive manufacturing industry – will return for its 7th edition in 2021. After the show had to move to a fully virtual format in 2020 due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Formnext 2021 will return to the grounds of Messe Frankfurt. The next meeting for the AM community is scheduled to run between 16 – 19 November 2021.
The Formnext exhibition encapsulates all the diverse aspects of additive manufacturing, covering every step of the production chain. Over 800 exhibitors are expected to take part in the showcase with offers in the areas of materials, AM production methods, design and software solutions, upstream and downstream processes, research and services. The fair’s last edition attracted over 34,000 trade visitors and this number is only expected to grow in the future. This makes Formnext an important business platform, which offers the opportunity for direct sales on the show floor, an excellent spotlight for new products and numerous potential connections with clients, partners or investors.
Additive manufacturing holds enormous potential, which is highlighted and developed at Formnext. With dedicated Start-Up Area and Start-Up Challenge initiatives, the fair makes special place for the newcomers and pioneers in the industry. Educational content abounds at the TCT Conference @ Formnext, where dozens of presentations cover the topics of additive manufacturing, 3D printing design, CAD/CAE, metrology and more.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
