The annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes has set Vienna as its next host in 2020. Going strong since 1965, the EASD meeting has maintained a leading position at the forefront in research and treatment of diabetics. In 2020, scientists, physicians, allied health professionals, students, postdocs and fellows, and nurses will participate in an intense scientific programme that places value on continued study of diabetes or related diseases. Papers, talks and findings of numerous study groups will be presented.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Most of all , the location was excellent. It was easy to access from the airport by being so close to the main station and the direct trains to the exhibition were very close as well.
The train station proved very good for getting some thing hot to eat after a long day at the exhibition. The large supermarket was in the station as well.
