DSEI in London is a biennial exhibition and conference with a firm focus on defence and security matters. Since its start under the name of British Army and Navy exhibition, the platform has gradually expanded its scope and assumed a leading role in its segment, forming an engaged international community.
Celebrating the event's 20th anniversary, DSEI 2019 is scheduled to take place at ExCeL London on 10 - 13 September. The organisers expect over 1600 exhibiting companies and 35,000 trade visitors from nearly 50 countries. More than 300 speakers will share their expertise at the DSEI Seminars and Strategic Conferences.
What makes it special
The Defence and Security Equipment International Exhibition and Conference supports the entire supplier chain. A stage for global debuts of technological innovations, DSEI London is where numerous now broadly acclaimed products made their first appearance.
Aside from the impressive exhibition display and the networking possibilities, the event delivers valuable informational content through its conference and seminar programme. One such example for DSEI 2019 is the Maritime Capability Conference held on 10 September, with topics involving the impact of cold water operations, surface warfare, future operating environment and so on.
What is new for DSEI 2019
DSEI 2019 will welcome attendees with new specialised hubs - Communications, Cyber, Innovation, Manufacturing, Medical and Space - where they can meet cross-sector suppliers.
The Manufacturing Hub will cover areas like additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM software, connectors and cables, electronic components, milling and machining among others.
Featuring space and communication technology and data services, the Space Hub will present satellite platform operators and geospatial data providers.
