About Demo Forest 2023
Demo Forest 2023 is coming to Bertrix! The 22nd edition of the unique Western Europe event for the Forestry and Wood sector will be held between 1 and 2 August 2023 at Libramont Exhibition & Conference from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Demo Forest 2023 will span an exhibition space of nearly 120 ha, bringing together the children of the Earth, including scientists, advisors, experts, managers, horticulturists, entrepreneurs and other experts. The trade show will be the meeting place to elicit questions, share innovative and sustainable solutions for agriculture, the forest and the environment, and form meaningful connections. Exhibiting sectors will include tree felling, agroforestry, forest seedings, utility vehicles and others.
Demo Forest 2023 will be a very interactive event, communicating four significant issues for the industry: the three main functions of the forests, the adaptations of silvicultures to global changes, the local transformation and consumption of the wood, and raising public awareness. The trade show will host live demonstrations, on-site training of future actors, educational workshops, and two conference debates. Demo Forest 2023 will also offer two international competitions, the International Competition of the European Draft Horse Committee and the Belgian Championship for Tree Climbers in pairs, and supporting events where children and adults can participate.
