Art Paris 2022 will open doors for trade visitors and exhibitors soon. The leading spring event for modern and contemporary art will be held from 7 to 10 April 2022 at the Grand Palais Éphémère. France Conventions, the Art Paris 2022 organiser, will commit to developing an environmentally responsible approach to organising the art fair edition, supported by French environmental agency ADEME.
** Art Paris 2022** will mark the 24th edition of the regional and cosmopolitan spring event. Characterised by its commitment to the environment, the trade fair will feature two main themes – Natural Histories and Art & Environment. Other Art Paris 2022 highlights will include the ’‘Solo Show’’ sector, featuring seventeen monographic exhibitions by modern, contemporary and emerging artists, and the ’‘Promises’’ sector, offering a supporting programme for young galleries created less than six years ago.
Art Paris 2022’s Natural Histories: A Focus on the French Scene will be hosted by independent exhibition curator Alfred Pacquement. He will share his perspective on the French scene with a selection of 20 artists from different generations and the return of plants and animals in the contemporary aesthetic.
Art & Environment will be presented by independent exhibitor curator, environmental specialist and Art of Change 21 founder Alice Audouin. She will orchestrate a selection of 17 local and international artists whose artwork tackles various ecological issues. The artists will also be amongst the exhibiting galleries at Art Paris 2022.
