The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) will host another edition in 2022. The AAO 2022 Congress will be held from 30 September to 3 October at McCormick Place. The AAO 2022 Expo will take place 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from 1 to 3 October, and the Subspecialty Day and the AAOE Practice Management Program will occur from 30 September to 1 and 3 October. Participants who have registered for the in-person gathering can also access the corresponding AAO 2022 virtual content.
AAO 2022 will host numerous educational sessions and courses, gathering American and foreign ophthalmologists in one place to discuss standard practices, new products and technologies and other essential topics. The Academy will offer classes on various topics like cataract and vision rehabilitation, practice quality, coding and reimbursement. Another AAO 2022 highlight will be the annual Skills Transfer Labs, providing hands-on learning opportunities to all attendees to master new diagnostic and surgical techniques. Other must-attend events at the Conference will be the Academy Café, the Poster Theater and Lounge, and the masterclasses and general sessions part of the AAOE Practice Management Program.
