UK Games Expo 2022

UK Games Expo 2022 will run on 3 – 5 June. It will occupy halls 1, 2 and 3 of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, with part of the activities taking place at the Hilton Hotel. The event is the biggest hobby games convention in the United Kingdom, and its previous edition became one of the first hobby games shows to return in physical format since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers reported 10,671 unique visitors during the 15th UK Games Expo (UKGE) – a great turnout given the unusual circumstances.

Another reason for optimism is the return of the Hall of Fame during the UKGE 2022 dates. Paused for two years, the UK Games Hall of Fame will again present the most influential minds in the games industry – board game designers, publishers, manufacturers, authors.

The upcoming UK Games Expo 2022 will bring together exhibitors and industry professionals at the traditional Show preview, where companies will demonstrate their newest games and products in front of buyers, retailers and the media. The Publisher-Designer Speed Dating sessions will also be continued. Each session will be focused on different genres (at the 15th UKGE their focal points were respectively: Euro/American style and strategic games and Family/abstract and party games).

Established and emerging publishers – Iello, Osprey Games, Blue Orange, Scorpion Masque, Mighty Boards, Fantasy Flight Games and many more - will join UKGE 2022. The variety of board, dice and card games, roleplaying games, miniatures and accessories will be complemented by tournaments and awards.
