The biannual Texworld in Paris is a leading international fair for fashion and fabric supply. After the coronavirus pandemic led to the conversion of its last edition into a digital event, the upcoming Texworld Paris Spring 2021 will return to the Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre on 1 – 4 February.
Exhibitors at Texworld come predominantly from abroad and offer a rich variety of products ranging from the basics to less common high-end fabrics. Manufacturers specialising in cotton, linen, wool, embroidery and lace, tailoring, trims and accessories consider Texworld unmissable. The fair is visited by over 12,000 professional buyers and offers dedicated B2B programmes which facilitate the matching between supply and demand. For example the Small Order Itinerary is oriented towards smaller quantities, while the Sustainable Sourcing Itinerary promotes eco-friendly and ethical textiles. A recent addition is the Handmade Itinerary.
The fair is also one of six major co-located events dedicated to fabrics and garment production, including the specialised Texworld Denim. The rich exhibition programme they create is rounded out by special events like catwalk shows and insightful conferences.
