MipTV 2021, the next edition of the annual international television market event, will run on 12 – 15 April 2021. This will be the second fully virtual edition for the fair due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.
MipTV Cannes 2021 will once again offer an unrivalled platform for networks and independent producers to pitch their shows to buyers from all over the world, including top-tier distributors and producers. The programme is jam-packed with screenings, offering an in-depth insight into the future of the content industry. The last in-person edition of the show welcomed 9,500 TV and digital entertainment industry professionals, creating the perfect atmosphere for them to discover new content, forge partnerships, negotiate financing and distribution agreements and find co-production opportunities.
MipTV’s Official Selection features three main sections: the Drama Series Pitch, the Creative Talent Pitch and the Kids Series Pitch. Part of the programme will also be the fourth edition of CANNESERIES. The special pitch events MIPDoc and MIPFormats will take place on 10-11 April.
