The number one trade fair for the medical sector will be held on 12 - 15 November 2018 in Messe Dusseldorf. It will be accompanied by COMPAMED, a leading trade show in its segment - high tech medical technology. Close to 6000 companies will exhibit at MEDICA 2018. Nearly 124,000 trade professionals will join the event in search for the newest in outpatient and clinical care.
Who can you meet there
MEDICA brings under one roof manufacturers of medical, orthopaedic and laboratory technology, medical furniture commodities and consumables. Providers of information and communication technology are also well represented. Visitors from diverse fields attend the trade fair - from hospital managers, physiotherapists and general practitioners to medical trade companies, R&D specialists and legislators.
What makes it special
The exhibition doesn’t overshadow the event programme - they drive progress in perfect unison. The forums (including MEDICA Health IT, MEDICA Connected Healthcare, MEDICA Wound Care, etc.) and special shows cover a broad range of medical-technological themes. Each of these events has its devoted audience. The recent addition, MEDICA Start-Up Park is promoting young companies, mainly in digital health.
What is new for MEDICA Dusseldorf 2018
MEDICA 2018 will direct the attention to trends with the potential to transform the health economy - digitalisation, big data, AI, cyber security. The implementation of wearable technology and robotics in healthcare will be under the spotlight at the exhibition. Launched last year, MEDICA Academy will feature practical courses. MEDICA Medicine + Sports Conference will cover prevention and sports medical treatment.
