Before getting cancelled the 2021 edition of INTERSCHUTZ was supposed to take place between 14 Jun and 14 Jun in Hannover Fairground.

INTERSCHUTZ 2021 will be the leading platform for fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security. The event was cancelled in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the direct involvement of many attendees in the efforts to deal with the crisis. Instead, the Deutsche Messe and its partners are working together to prepare a must-attend event for 2021.
INTERSCHUTZ 2021 is expected to bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors and 157,000 visitors in its biggest edition so far. For the first time, a lead theme for the fair has been announced as “Teams, Tactics, Technology – Connected for Protection and Rescue.” It sets the focus on the new opportunities introduced into the world of rescue, relief and safety by innovative technologies, but also on the challenges that may arise in their implementation and use.
Rounding out the INTERSCHUTZ programme are also a variety of supporting events and competitions. Among them is the 29th edition of the German Fire Service Day – an international platform for innovative individuals and ideas. There are also the action-filled outdoor demonstrations of the latest equipment in firefighting and rescue work.
