The 34th European Congress of Pathology will hold its 2022 edition at the Congress Centre in Basel, Switzerland. The congress will occur from 3 to 7 September 2022, organised by the European Society of Pathology (ESP) and the Swiss Society of Pathology (SGPath).
The ECP 2022 motto will be “The Art of Next-Generation Pathology”. It encompasses the broad range of modern pathology, pointing out the skills and knowledge necessary for the best management and maximal benefit for experts’ patients. The European Congress of Pathology 2022 will showcase modern technologies, innovative solutions presented by leading and next-generation pathologists. The trade fair will also host informative lectures and sessions organised by trainees, covering various topics – from cutting-edge scientific developments to common diagnostic and academic pathology problems and AI integration in pathology practices.
An ECP 2022 highlight will be the Computational Pathology Symposium (CPS), presenting key speakers from both academia and industry to talk about current and future developments in the application of AI to histopathology. Panel discussions, ‘best paper award’ ceremonies and demonstrations may be part of the symposium on 4 September. Another must-visit will be the 8th edition of the Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Translational Research Symposium, taking place on 5 September 2022.
