For the 33rd time, the European Congress of Pathology 2021 will host the optimal platform where the medical community can discover the latest developments in diagnostic and molecular pathology. The event takes place in various European cities and in 2021 it will welcome pathology professionals and their collaborators to the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre (SECC) in Gothenburg. After the transition to a virtual edition in 2020, the upcoming ECP dates - 28 August to 1 September 2021 – are eagerly expected.
The five days of ECP 2021 will run under the motto “Compass for Optimal Patient Therapy”. Pathologists, molecular biologists, geneticists, bioinformaticians, and medical IT experts will meet to share recent and important advances in the discipline, including the latest diagnostic, prognostic and predictive information needed to achieve the best patient care. The scientific programme covers all areas of pathology, in addition to topics like infectious diseases and the uses of IT in the sphere. Participants will be able to share in current research and results through a wide range of scientific formats, comprising seminars, presentations, short courses, videomicroscopy, and special sessions.
The 33rd ECP will be accompanied by a strong technical exhibition, where industry members can showcase their innovative offers to the expert audience. Companies are also able to present their solutions during the Industry Symposia.

The hotel was situated just perfect for us, across the street from a good restaurant and very close to the train station.

We stayed at Ibis Budget Messe, it is quite close to the exhibition centre, but with no easy public transportation close by, so we had to take the Taxi. Even though with taxi, it was always quick to get to the fair. The hotel was clean and good for a business trip.
We got a good deal through Expo Beds, so we have no complaints. Iskra gave us really good service, answering e-mails quickly and every time we had any doubts, she was prompt to help us.
