With more than half a century history, Art Cologne has become one of the most important international centres for high-quality art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Art Cologne 2022 will be co-hosted with Cologne Fine Art & Design - COFAD. It will revitalise the halls of Messe Cologne from November 16 to 20, 2022.
Having adapted to the new health and safety regulations, the Art Cologne and COFAD will present more spacious halls and a reduced number of artworks for an improved and more relaxed visitors experience. Returning art enthusiasts and buyers will benefit from the arrangement of the traditional exhibit segments such as the CONTEMPORARY, MODERN/POST-War and New Market . The 2022 combined fair edition will assemble a hand-picked selection of gallery heavyweights and young art dealers, all to be considered for the spotlight at the Special exhibition zone. Special attention will be given to the award ceremonies - the Art Cologne Prize, ADKV Award for art associations and art criticism and the Gaffel Glass Design Award. Panel discussions about current topics in the art market and the Arte Generali Expert Panel will picture the future of art in Germany and abroad.
